one2one™ is LVCT-Health’s peer led (for-youth, by-youth, with-youth) innovative & evidence based programme offering comprehensive quality sexual and reproductive health direct services & literacy to over one million adolescents & youth (10-24 years) in Kenya annually.

 

one2one utilises a complimentary mix of multi-media approaches that include digital platforms, direct health and HIV service delivery, training, capacity building and policy advocacy, within LVCT’s research-Policy-Practice framework to achieve the following objectives:

 

  1. Provide young people with credible/accurate information on HIV/AIDS, Sexuality, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights
  2. Provide young people with quality HIV and SRH services and appropriate referrals
  3. Create a forum for open discussion through which teens and youth can explore HIV/AIDS concerns, sexuality & reproductive health options and make informed choices
  4. Build youth capacity and engage in advocacy to increase participation of youth HIV and health policy and programme planning, prioritisation and implementation processes.

Once a young girl gets pregnant, her life crumbles in front of her. Some get disowned by their parents, they are left by the young fathers, they endure the ridicule from society for having children out of wedlock. One woman is not giving up on these young women, she is on a mission to rebuild lives and rejuvenate their lost hope.
