Heterosexual
A person is attracted physically, romantically and emotionally to someone of the opposite sex called heterosexual. 'Hetero' means 'another' in Greek. Therefore, if you identify as a man, you are attracted to women. Alternatively, if you identify as a woman, you are attracted to men. So, for example, a male is attracted to a female, and a female is attracted to a male. Heterosexuality is also referred to as being straight.
Heterosexuality is one of the most common three forms of sexual orientation. About 90% of the people are heterosexual, and 10% identify as gay, bisexual, lesbian, or something else.
Sexual orientation affects more than just being sexually attracted. It also affects one's identity and how one expresses themselves
