Does My Boyfriend (or Partner) have any say in What I Decide?

The choice of how to deal with your unplanned pregnancy is yours. Your boyfriend cannot force you to make a certain choice.

In the same way, though, you can’t force your boyfriend to share the consequences of your choice if he doesn’t agree with it. 

If you choose to have the baby and your boyfriend doesn’t want to be a father, you can’t force him to do it.

If you decide to have the baby, your boyfriend, as the father, will have certain rights and responsibilities once the baby is born. 

For example, you can ask a judge to force him to provide financial support for his baby assuming he has money.
