Make informed decisions. Talk to your partners about STIs and the use of safer sex tools, such as condoms, dams every time you have sex. 

You should always use a condom, and dental dam correctly and consistently every time you have oral, vaginal and anal sex with your partners. Condoms protect you from STIs and unplanned pregnancy. 

Having unprotected sex with multiple sexual partners (MSP) is the greatest risk factor for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among young people. 

You should also test for STIs frequently with your partners.
