MAJOR CHANGES IN GIRLS DURING PUBERTY

During puberty, girls develop a more adult body shape. 

They get taller and curvier. 

They develop bigger breasts, wider hips, and rounder buttocks. 

They grow longer and often darker hairs on their arms and legs, and thicker hairs appear in the genital region and under their arms. 

Their genitals develop, and they get their first period (menstruation), an indication that they are now capable of having children.
