Pregnancy Option 2: Adoption

If you’ve concluded that you aren’t ready or able to become a mother right now but you don’t want to have an abortion, then your option is adoption.

Choosing adoption means carrying the pregnancy to term, delivering the baby, and then giving the baby to a family you have selected to raise the baby as their own.

As you evaluate this choice, learn as much as possible about adoption. Once you feel you fully comprehend what this choice means, ask yourself whether this could be the best solution for you.

Don’t try to do all this by yourself. Seek the advice of an adult you trust. 

If no one close to you is trustworthy in this way, keep in mind that there are many support groups for people in your situation. Look them up on the Internet and give them a call.
