My friend is a cyberbully. What do I do?

If your friend is a cyberbully, it is important to let him or her know that the behavior is not okay without putting him or her down. 

Explain to him or her the consequences of cyberbullying to those being bullied and to him or her as an individual. 

Explain to him or her that next time it happens; you’ll take a stand against his or her behavior. 

You can try to suggest new activities for you and your friends to do together. This could be a good way to focus on something positive.

If your friend does not accept to stop such behaviors, it may be time to end the friendship. Try to focus on making new, healthy friendships.
