A Friday evening, this girl I flirted with called me to confirm whether I was at my place so she could come over. She said she was bored and was looking for someone to hang with, and since I had nothing to do that evening and no plans the next day, I told her it was cool and that she could come over. From all the flirting between us, I knew there was a high chance that I would get some action, and I was not wrong. She started undressing as soon as the door closed, and without wasting time, I followed her lead, removed my old shorts and boxers, and threw them without caring where they would land. I did not want to waste time. This was sex that was about to happen, and it would be my first time!

I quickly tried to put on a condom. I had a couple lying around in one of my drawers, awaiting this glorious day. I did not know how to put on a condom and did not want to ask her to help me because my gangster points would immediately drop to zero. I fumbled around and managed to put one on. All this time, she just lay there waiting for me. I must have looked like an idiot who had no idea what he was doing. Finally, I joined her in bed and was ready to have sex.

I did what I had seen many men on TV do and also what I heard people describe when they talked about sex. During sex, I realized that I was feeling a lot more pleasure than when we started, and it was only after we were done that I realized the condom had slipped off my penis. I had no idea how to put one on.

Pillow talk
Conversations after sex should not go like “the condom slipped, so we have not used protection”, but I had to tell her. She thought I was kidding and said she would have noticed if it slipped off, but I assured her it did. She panicked momentarily, took her phone, put her head on a pillow, and scrolled through Instagram. I was spiralling as she watched the latest updates from her favourite influencers. How could this happen to me my 1st time? I was not ready to be called a dad at my age. And why was she so chill?!

I had to ask her why she was not freaking out, and she told me that she was on contraception, so she was not scared of pregnancy. She asked whether I knew my status, and I told her that I did, and she shared hers too. Man, I was so relieved and immediately went online to look for information on how to put on a condom because I am not going through this again! Now I am a pro at putting on condoms and even sharing tips with my friends on how to do it, one rule i useally share pinch place and roll even when they have not asked for my opinions, because no brother needs to go through such an embarrassment!
