When is the Ideal moment to take a Pregnancy Test?

The ideal time to take a home pregnancy test is a week after a woman’s missed period. 

By that time, even in cases of late implantation, the hormone concentration in urine is high enough for the test to detect and the risk of false negatives is reduced drastically.

Testing the urine first thing in the morning also seems to increase accuracy.

To further reduce the probability of mistakes, most test brands recommend that women run a second test a few days later, regardless of the result of the first one.
