Why do ladies play hard to get?

Dating can be difficult in today’s time and era regardless of whether you are looking for a partner online or offline. 

One of the main problems when it comes to dating is that daters usually play hard to get. And this can be frustrating to you and provide you with extra problems when you are trying to win their heart. 

But what is playing hard to get? 

Playing hard to get is when a person adopts a not very friendly attitude and expresses a complete lack of interest towards others, typically, to get more attention.

Why do women play hard to get then? 

Unfortunately, there is no ultimate reason as to why ladies play hard to get but there are reasons why a lady, girl, or woman would act this way.  They include; 

1. To show you that she is not an easy girl to hook up with. 
2. She is afraid of being rejected 
3. She is probably feeling insecure around you and trying to make herself feel more confident by playing hard to get. Some women need to do this to feel confident around guys. 
4. She just wants to see how interested in her you really are. She wants to see if you will lose interest if she stops showing interest in you. 
5. She Has Not Yet Decided Whether She Likes You or Not
6. To probably find out what kind of a guy you are, apart from the approach 
7. To see if a relationship with you might be like 
8. She wants to see how you will handle yourself as a man 
9. To hopefully make you feel more appreciative of being with her or getting with her. Essentially she wants you to really like her and really want to be with her. 
10. She is awkward when it comes to expressing her feelings for a guy
11. She doesn’t want a guy who gives up on something at the sign of an obstacle 
12. She has just gotten out of a relationship where she had no power and was ignored and taken for granted 
13. She is not looking for a committed relationship right now. She is trying to show you she is not interested 
14. It is her version of flirting 
15. She has had bad experiences where a guy has lost interest in her if she showed interest too quickly, so she is trying to avoid that happening with you,

Signs She's Playing Hard to Get

It can be tough and confusing to know when a woman is playing hard to get and when she genuinely does not have an interest in you.

Here are some signs to help you know she is playing hard to get. 

1. She takes a while to respond to you but she gets friendly and flirty when she does. 
2. She puts a lot of effort to look good when you meet up
3. She pretends she is busy when she is not. When you plan to meet and says that she might be busy instead, then you can be more or less sure that she's just playing hard to get.
4. She shows up in places your hangout even after telling you she is unlikely to come to hang out with you after you invite her. 
5. She will not tell you she is or not interested in you
6. They will try to make you jealous 
7. She is in and out on your plans or whatever you agree initially 
8. She is hot and cold. One minute she is texting you all these amazing things then the next day she is missing in action

What should I do when she plays hard to get 

• Think about if she is worth your time and energy.  Is she worth trying? You need to decide you want to date her or not 
• Play her game. Show her you are interested, provide her with the attention she wants.
• Confront her about it if things don’t improve. Ask her nicely why she is going with the hard to get.
